Ran my extended city loop yesterday. Took the first few miles easy and ran progressively when my legs felt like it. At mile 10 I finally fely ready to push the pace a bit and ran 2 miles at MP. Ended at 1:32.

Legs took longer than I anticipated to warm up (4 mi). Felt fluid after they did.

I think I am the only guy not tapering for the 10k tomorrow. It is hard to read all the other blogs and still feel competitive in a race like that. I need to remember that tomorrow is not the goal, just a stepping stone towards a good marathon performance.

My actual training is nothing like what I write in my blog. The blog is just a farce designed to psych out my competitors. ;-)

See ya' tomorrow!

I'm tapering and I'm not even racing.

Everybody -- good luck on your race tomorrow. I look forward to reading about some great runs.

I can always count on fast running blog for a good laugh after work! Seriously though, all you can do is your best... And besides I know that whatever time I run or whatever place I take I will always be seen as #1 in the eyes of my family.

Good job man! I dont know you that well but I know that you can put on a good race!

My blog doesn't reflect my training either. I don't even run. I just pay some tall gut to show up at races.
